Eagle hunting in Kyrgyzstan

When you travel in Kyrgyzstan, you will see the beautiful berkut (golden eagles), which has the golden feathers at the back of its head. They are usually hunt hares, foxes and lynxes. It is important to note that, female birds are much bigger and can hunt even wolves. Their live span is about 40-50 years. In the course of tours in Kyrgyzstan, you will see young birds trained by one person for 3-4 years and only after 20 years, they will have opportunity to find a mate and nest. It is worth saying that, eagle pairs stay together for life.
