Route: Almaty - Charyn - Kegen border - Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor - Son Kul - Chon Kemin - Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek

Day 1: Almaty
We are glad to see you on Silk Road tours in the country of Kazakhstan. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the city. You will have a city tour and visit the famous Green Bazaar. It is one of the best bazaars for shopping. The tour will be continued visiting Almaty parks as Panfilov Park and Zenkov Cathedral. Then we will visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame. In the afternoon we will travel to the Medeo Gorge and see the highest mountain skating rink in the world. We will drive to Kok Tobe hill where the tallest TV tower in the world is located where we can enjoy panoramic view of whole city. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.

Day 2: Almaty - Charyn - Kegen border - Karakol
The tour will start from visiting one of the most widespread places of Kazakhstan as Charyn Canyon. This is a very attractive gorge where you can take many photos! The height of canyon reaches 150-300 meters. The canyon was created from wind and water and has color of "Red Castles Valley". Forms are in different shapes and very common among travelers. The road to the Canyon and back is 400 km. Then we will drive to Kyrgyz border and Karakol town. Overnight is in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor
In the morning we will travel to Jeti Oguz gorge. You can see seven red rock formations in a row. It is translated as Seven Bulls. See the Broken Heart Mountain. Travelers will enjoy wonderful panoramic views and spend 20 minutes that! We will travel to Bokonbaeva village and meet a local eagle-hunter. He will show you an eagle hunting. Then you can take photos. Night is in a home stay.          

Day 4: Kochkor - Son Kul
In the morning we will travel to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan as Son Kul Lake. This lake is enclosed by mountains and measured to be the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. There are a lot of people come here for pastureland and just for reduction. Nomads travel to this area with their families for rest and joy. Night is in a yurt. 

Day 5: Son Kul - Kochkor - Chon Kemin
Today we will travel to Kochkor village over Kalmak Ashu pass of 3 225 meters high. On arrival to Kochkor village, you will meet local families and learn how to make Kyrgyz carpets. We will visit a small handicraft museum there where you can find examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and others. Rest is in a homestay.

Day 6: Chon Kemin - Bishkek
The morning you will have 3 hours of horse riding. We will ride in the mountains and get encouragement from beautiful forest. Then you can see astonishing panoramic view and relish stunning landscape. In the afternoon we will transfer to Bishkek city. On the way visit Burana Tower found from the 11th century. There is an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors) made for heroes who died for the freedom of their Motherland. Transfer to the Kyrgyz capital - Bishkke. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 7: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
In the morning you will have a guided tour of Bishkek. We will visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and other places. The tour will be continued to the famous Ala Archa gorge. It is 45 km from Bishkek. It is the Natural Park located on a spur of the Tien Shan mountain range. In Soviet times this place was controlled by government. Travelers will have a short hiking tour and relish panoramic view of the gorge. We will return to Bishkek. Rest is in a hotel. 

Day 8: Bishkek - Airport
Morning transfer to airport. Have a safe flight!
