Day 1: Almaty
We are happy to impress you by a tour along Silk road. Being in Kazakhstan, the guide will meet you and transfer to Almaty. We will visit Green Bazaar and enjoy shopping. The next destination is Panfilov Park and Zenkov Cathedral. In the afternoon we will visit Medeo Gorge. It is the uppermost mountain skating rink in the world and Shymbulak resort. The tour will be continued to Kok Tobe hill with the tallest TV tower in the world. Here we will walk via twisting tracks of the park, esteem the superb panoramic view of the city from the deck. In addition, you will visit shops of national souvenirs and end day with the short ride to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Almaty - Charyn - Kegen border - Karakol
Today's destination is Karakol town. Before going there, we will visit Charyn gorge. It is great natural complex of Kazakhstan. It is a very old canyon of about 12 million years old. You can see its cliffs that look like ancient castles. It was created by wind, sun and rain. We will need 3 hours to reach canyon and learn more about history and nature of the region, about Kazakh people. Here you will be amazed by its splendid attractiveness and uniqueness. Afterwards we will cross Kegen border and your guide will meet you. We will drive to Karakol city and visit the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style without even single metal ligaments. Here we will see an old wooden Orthodox Church. Overnight is in a guest house.
Day 3: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor
We will visit Jeti Oguz and see red rock formation. Here can be seen the famous Broken Heart Mountain. Travelers will admire the panoramic view of the gorge. We will drive to Bokonbaeva village. Being there we will meet a local eagle-hunter and useful information about wild birds. Then you can take photos with them. In Kochkor village you will meet a family and see how our national woolen felt carpets are made. Night is in a home stay.
Day 4: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
In the morning we will travel to the second largest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. This lake is located on elevation 3 013 meters above sea level. Travelers will relish mountains enclose whole lake. Kyrgyz nomads come here for rest and pastureland. It is an idea to discover and enjoy its untouched beauty by yourself. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Son Kul - Chon Kemin
In the morning you will travel to Kochkor village along wonderful gorge and Kalmak Ashu pass of 3 225 meters high. Travelers will admire beauty of incredible mountainous views. See remarkably unspoiled, old-style and rich in culture while the capital evolving. Tourism is still in a state and massive areas are mainly genuine by foreign visitors. We are sure you will love it. Day 6: Chon Kemin - Burana - Bishkek
Travelers will have 3 hours for horse riding and ride along high in the mountains. It is a great idea to see astonishing view of the gorge. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek, where on they we can visit Burana Tower. It is a minaret of 11th century. Also see an open air museum where you can see stone warrior or Balbals. They are made in honor of those who perished protecting their Motherland. We will transfer to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
We will have a city tour of Bishkek and visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and so on. In the afternoon you will go to Ala Archa National Park which is located on the ridge of the Tian Shan mountain range. The Ala Archa Park is situated in 45 km from the city. It is best place for hiking and see panoramic view of the gorge. We will return to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Bishkek - Osh
In the morning is flight from Bishkek to Osh city. On arrival we will visit popular and special place called Suleiman Mountain. Suleiman Too or Solomon's Mountain is situated in the center of the city. It is pilgrimage place for local Muslims. Prophet Solomon (Suleiman) was buried at the foot of it. Then we will visit Asian Bazaar and have opportunity to take a lot of colorful photos. Night is in a hotel.
Day 9: Osh - Guliston border - Khujand
We will cross Kyrgyz-Tajik border in the morning and transfer to Khujand city. This is the second largest city of Tajikistan and located on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. Population is 149,000 and deliberated to be the most northern province of Tajikistan, today Sughd. In the afternoon you will go to see a Cultural Palace of Khujand where the first president of Tajikistan elected. See Central Mosque. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 10: Khujand - Penjakent
In the morning we will drive to Penjakent via Shahriston Pass that is located on altitude 3 378 m. Penjakent is also called Five villages. It is situated on Khujand area of Tajikistan in Zeravshan river valley. The city was built in 5th- 8th century AD. It was a not only cultural center of Sogd but also manufacturing center and called "Central Asian Pompeii". This city had a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. See ruins of houses and other buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Night is in a hotel.
Day 11: Penjakent - Jarpeto - Samarkand
Travelers will be transferred to Tajik - Uzbek border. We will travel to Samarkand. Samarkand is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. It is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Today is a city tour and travelers will visit Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan square is a complex made of three Madrasahs of 15th- 17th century and included to UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shakhi Zindeh of 11th- 15th centuries represents collection of mausoleums. See Bibi Khanum mosque was built for Tamerlane's wife, after his conquest in India. Night is in a hotel.
Day 12: Samarkand - Bukhara (train)
We will travel to Bukhara by train. Today is a tour around Bukhara. The Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex of Sufi Leader and Philosopher is the sight we will explore. It is one of the Muslim pilgrimage places for people of Islamic world. Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandi was one of the unworldly masters of Amir Timur. The site has mosques of Kushbegi and Muzafarohana, courtyard with pool, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and Dakhma on the tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. We will visit very interesting place - Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. It is a Bukhara Emirs' country residence. This complex was constructed in different styles and groupings. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 13: Bukhara
Whole day is devoted to sightseen implausible city - Bukhara. Travelers will visit ancient citadel in Bukhara of 4th century as Citadel Ark. This place was recycled as a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Later on we will visit the masterwork of 9th-10th century as Samanids mausoleum. See Chashma Ayub or "Job's well" and Bolo Hauz mosque. It is also famous as the mosque of forty columns that is dedicated to Bukhara governor Abu Fayud Khan. Travelers will walk lengthways the shopping domes and visit one of the most celebrated madrasahs - Nodir Divan Begi. It is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble, eminent central sightseeing of Bukhara. Poi Kalon complex, the exclusive sample of architectural art of Bukhara must be seen by us. It is created of three structures and was built in the 12th - 16th centuries: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 14: Bukhara - Tashkent
We will fly or go by train to Tashkent. On the way you will visit the main square placed as a sign of victory over fascism in World War II, then walk on local Broadway. We will have a ride in well-known metro of Tashkent with its gorgeous subway. First line of the metro was opened in 1977. The tour will be continued visiting Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that entails of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Don't miss to see the Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy of 8th century. Quran belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph. Unfortunately he was killed by non-muslims in 8th century. Night is in a hotel.
Day 15: Tashkent - Chimgan Mountains - Tashkent
In the morning is transfer to Chimgan Mountains. We will get there by chair lift and find Beldersay peak 30 min one-way. Travelers will explore and relish nature. On the way you will have break at Charvak lakeside beach and do some water activities (as per season). It is a very popular in Tashkent region and thousands of outing makers from all over Uzbekistan and neighboring countries visit the reservoir. We will back to Tashkent. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 16: Flight
Transfer to airport and flight to your destination. Have a safe flight!
