Route: Tashkent - Samarkand - Nurata - Tashkent

Day 1: Tashkent
Uzbekistan awaits you on this incredible tour! We will visit Independence square which is the chief square of the country, established as a symbol of victory over fascism in World War II. We will walk along the local Broadway and see Tashkent metro, amongst the most attractive subways in the world which was opened in 1977. We will visit the old part of the city which includes: Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that has madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The highlight of its exhibitions is the Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy belonging to the 8th century. Quran belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph (of the four righteous Caliphs who succeeded the prophet Muhammad). Othman was murdered in 8th century. His blood spred over the Quran pages. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand (350 km, 4 hrs drive)
In the morning you will be transferred to Samarkand. Samarkand is positioned in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. Today we will have a city tour and visit Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square, a complex of three charming Madrasahs dating back to 15-17th centuries. Shakhi Zindeh characterizes a big collection of mausoleums of the 11th-15 centuries (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Bibi Khanum Mosque was built to beloved Tamerlane's wife, after his effective trip in India. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 3: Samarkand - Yurts camp of Nurata (310 km, 4 hours)
In the morning we will travel to a small town of Nurata, situated in the foothills of Nuratau Mountains. It was founded by Alexander the Great in 4th century BC. Though, according to archeological diggings the cultural layer in this area reaches the age of 40 thousand years. On arrival you will have a city tour and visit the Khasan Khuseyn Mosque, blacksmith's and potter's workshops and a sacred pond with sacred fishes, a place for pilgrimage by Muslim worshipers in Nurata. Then visit Medressa of Sheihun Hasan Nury, Namazgokh Mosque and remnants of so called "Alexander the Great's Fortress". Then we will continue the drive to yurt camp in dessert. Night is in a yurt camp.

Day 4: Nurata - Samarkand
In the morning travelers will have one or two hours' camel tour to Aydarkul lake. It is the unique lake stretching for 250 km along the desert. Then we will drive to Samarkand. On the way we will have stop at Sariamish stone paintings of more 3 000 pictures were exposed here, on black basalt rocks-petroglyphs showing animals, people, hunting scenes, lifestyle and even love-making. Upon arrival to Samarkand, night is in a hotel.

Day 5: Samarkand - Tashkent (350 km, 4.5 hrs)
In the morning is transfer to Tashkent. We will visit Courage Monument which is a commemorative complex, founded in honor of the removal of the consequences of the Tashkent earthquake. We will visit Zangi Ota memorial complex. Zangi Oota was a shepherd and renowned for his wisdom. The next destination of our tour is the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, containing of fine examples of glasses and national clothing, hand and machine embroidery, skullcaps and national fabrics, carpets and woodcarving. Transfer to a hotel.

Day 6: Tashkent - Flight
Transfer to airport. Flight for the next destination.
